We are a community of faith committed to loving God and to loving others. We practice this commitment by doing no harm, doing good and loving God.
St. Bethlehem United Methodist Church traces its beginnings back to a dedicated group of students from the old Southwestern Presbyterian University in Clarksville, Tennessee in 1888. The University would change its name to Austin Peay in 1927.
Come dream with us as we continue our journey of knowing, loving and serving God and others in the St. Bethlehem community and the world.
Our Purpose Statement:
Growing disciples of Christ for the transformation of our community.
Through our FUEL team, students who might not have much to eat over weekends are fed. Students receive a bag of food each Friday of the school year containing nutritious items that require no preparation by the child.
Room in the Inn
St. B UMC was one of the original churches in 2005 to provide shelter to the homeless of Clarksville. Our guests are transported to church, served meals, offered time for devotions and fellowship and provided a warm, dry, safe place to sleep on clean bedding on Friday nights from Nov 1 to March 31.
Ann's Closet-Food Pantry
Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the food pantry is open to give individuals/families bags of food.
